In recent years, cyberpunk has  become the dominant science fiction vision of the future. The cyberpunk aesthetic is rooted in the digitization and further commercialization of our daily lives and draws significant influence from the imagery of asian metropoli. The west coast of North America, Los Angeles and Vancouver especially feel significant influence from Asian countries in 2018. Asia is the continent with which the west coast conducts the majority of its trade and the asian populations of these cities increase everyday. Each passing day, as new skyscrapers covered in floor to ceiling plate glass windows are erected we grow closer and closer to the cyberpunk future. The purpose of this shoot is to bring together both the cowboy roots of western American settlement and its supposed digital future. Using a combination of contemporary streetwear styling coupled with cowboy accessories, this shoot will bring to life the image of the Cyber Wild West.
