"The Abstraction of Fashion" is an essay written for my fashion history course. The purpose of the assignment was a historic analysis of a fashion trend whether it be past or present. For my composition, I compared the works of Pablo Picasso and Demna Gvasalia (creative director, Balenciaga - Cofounder, Vetements). The thesis of the paper is that Gvasalia's approach and path through fashion runs paralel to Picasso's in art.
